Glasses
When it comes to glasses my motto is a strict "go dork or go home" and I am sure it is because I got my first pair of glasses the week before my freshman year of high school. My glasses went perfectly with my braces and acne. I am so thankful that glasses have become geek chic and these two lovelies are rocking it...

Street Style
Street Style [Rome, Italy]
I love how amazing both of these lovelies look. Completely different yet completely chic. I tend to dress more like the first girl...simple, clean, a bit undone. Although, I have been secretly craving some animal print leggings.
Lauren Conrad on Style
Reality TV star, turned fashion designer, Lauren Conrad has a style book out and it has received a bit of mixed reviews. While her advice is not groundbreaking, it is age appropriate. The book is geared toward young women and encourages a style that is both classic and fun. I think teens have a great deal of pressure these days on looking amazing and keeping up the quick changing trends; Lauren does a great job making that a bit more simple. I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a way to freshen up your style.

time flies
When I started this blog it was to create a little space for creativity and inspiration. I fully intended to write everyday, yet all of a sudden it is two weeks since my last post! Oopers! Life with a baby flies like nobody's business. So...Alexa Chung for Madewell and Tucker for Target both hit stores today. Madewell is always on it and I ordered this little gem
.I went a bit out of my comfort zone on these babies and will probably wear them like the model but will add some black tights. Very excited. Now on to Tucker for Target. I adore Tucker and was stoked when I heard about the Tucker for Target collaboration. I splurged and bought four pieces, which actually isn't so bad considering that I tried on almost the entire collection.
The burned out velvet dress came in a camisole that I also purchased, but I could not find an image of it. The last dress is heavily accessorized, I wore just the dress with a pair of cognac western boots. Simple.

Effortlessly Cool
Roger's Garden had it's annual Halloween Opening and I spotted these two lovelies there. Fall is my favorite time of year, but I am trying my hardest to enjoy the last few days of summer before I completely surrender to cozy knits and pumpkin spice lattes.
I love how she mixes the men's inspired pieces in the most feminine way. The white oxfords and bright plaid button up help make this look summery and fresh, while the gray blazer adds a bit of autumn coziness.
The perfect summer to fall outfit; her jacket, her layers, and her shoes are all perfectly thrown together.

I spotted this girl while having lunch at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa ca. Her harem pants are so adorable with a bow tie at the waist.

the great north west
I spotted this lovely lady sitting on a bench in downtown Seattle. She is utterly adorable. I am still kicking myself for not asking her where she found her perfectly beat up leather backpack.
